Conduct routine inspections, diagnostic testing, and preventive maintenance on GIS systems to identify and address potential issues. Troubleshoot complex GIS malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Develop and execute maintenance procedures and schedules in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems. Strong knowledge of GIS components, operating principles, and common failure modes. Proven experience in GIS installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Familiarity with applicable international and national electrical safety standards and regulations. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
