<p><h4>Job Description</h4>
<p>The Aircraft Mechanic III performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty.</p>
<p>Maintain and repair aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.</p>
<p>Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and apply technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.</p>
<p>Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.</p>
<p>Make entries in aircraft logs and records, and be responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.</p>
<p>Plan, conduct, and supervise aircraft technical inspections.</p>
<p>Compute basic weight and balance records.</p>
<p>Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.</p>
<p>Ensure compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis program, and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration.</p>

<h4>Minimum Requirements</h4>
<p>This role requires the candidate to obtain Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through UK Government prior to deployment.</p>
<p>Completion of high school or equivalent required.</p>
<p>Five (5) or more years aviation maintenance experience within the past ten (10) years on that mission design series (MDS).</p>
<p>Experience in maintenance, modification, and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components.</p>
<p>Must be in possession of a passport with 3 years of validity remaining at the time of hire and be able to travel internationally.</p>
<p>Able to clear CENTCOM Medical for deployment.</p>
<h4>Knowledge & Skills</h4>
<p>Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.</p>
<p>Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.</p>
