<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><b>Reporting: VP – Financial Accounting &amp; Reporting</b></p><p><b>Location: Kuwait</b></p><p><b>Industry: Real Estate Industry</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>&nbsp;</b></p><ul><li>Reviews all financial statements and manages accounts on a monthly basis after receiving from Subsidiaries / Associates. </li><li>Follow–up on all financial records of the subsidiaries, ensuring that they are accurately updated. </li><li>Reviews with external Tax auditors for final approval </li><li>Prepares the company consolidation and a Monthly Closing to ensure completeness of organized processes for the company and subsidiaries. </li><li>In charge of the Tax declaration for the company – Kuwait and local subsidiaries </li><li>Gather information from subsidiaries for DMTT tax, ensuring accurate calculations and a thorough understanding of applicable regulations. </li><li>Comprehend intercompany transactions by applying the transfer pricing policies and procedures. </li><li>Ensures that all subsidiaries submit their tax declarations accurately, minimizing payments based on actual data, and meet all deadlines. </li><li>Prepares the consolidated financial statements of the company in compliance with IFRS. </li><li>Analyzes the monthly reporting of the consolidated financial statements. </li><li>Assists in the development and enhancement of team procedure manuals and processes. </li><li>Maintains collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeping abreast of significant reporting, and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Actively participates in assigned Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) and ensures timely dissemination of information to CFT. </li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><ul><li>Kuwaiti National is a must </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with equivalent years of experience</li><li>Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)</li><li>6 – 8 years of relevant experience </li><li>Significant experience in the real estate industry, and relevant experience tax / Consolidations.</li></ul><p><b>&nbsp;</b></p><p><b>Working Days / Timings: Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM</b></p><p><br></p></div>
