The Supply Technician I reports directly to the Project Manager.</p><br><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><br><ul><li>Performs a variety of Class V warehousing duties to include: Ammunition and Residue receipts, issues, shipments, turn-ins, re-warehousing and inter-depot transfers.</li><li>Verifies materials against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage.</li><li>Routes material to prescribed storage locations.</li><li>Stocks, stack’s and palletizes munitions.</li><li>Prepares and uses magazine data cards.</li><li>Prepares lite boxes.</li><li>Rearranges and inventories stored munitions.</li><li>Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.</li><li>Removes munitions from storage and issues munitions upon receipt of proper documentation.</li><li>Reports any unauthorized access to restricted areas.</li><li>Ensures operational areas are free of debris and rubbish.</li><li>Operates Material Handling Equipment.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of supply and logistical experience, ammunition storage experience a plus.</li><li>Active DOD Secret security clearance or the able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.</li><li>Ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex issues.</li><li>Commitment to outstanding customer service, both internal and external.</li><li>Experience resolving complex issues utilizing external resources and escalating internally when appropriate.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain a consistent on-site schedule.</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kuwait Driver’s license and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license. </li><li>Must be able to obtain a Kuwaiti work visa.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred qualifications:</b></p><br><ul><li>Active DoD Secret security clearance.</li><li>Experience in ammunition storage, issue, receipt, preparation, safety and accountability procedures.</li><li>Experience in the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE- example: Forklift, RTCH).</li></ul><p><b>IMPORTANT NOTE:</b> Kuwaiti Immigration Requirements for obtaining a Kuwaiti work visa include but are not limited to obtaining and providing an authenticated police background check verifying NO prior criminal history.
