<span>Long Description <br><br>Job Summary <br></span><p>Planning Engineers are responsible for materials planning and inventory control and/or master scheduling and operations planning.</p><br>
<br><br>Job Responsibilities <br><p>Maintaining the company Master Planning Database for the Projects by collecting all the relevant information required about multiple projects on a regular basis<br>
Prepare and maintain Engineering, Production, and Shipment Plans<br>
Raise timely orders for job specific items as per the Master Planning Database <br>
Maintain proper inventory levels based on current inventory, historical/future usage, and forecast demand for the Raw Materials<br>
Work closely with purchasing organization to assure on time delivery of Raw Materials, Accessories, and Job Specific items to the Manufacturing<br>
Analyse and report backlog <br>
Generate reports for the management as and when required<br>
Knowledge of types & grades of steel raw material used in metal buildings ( HR Plates and Coils, GI Coils, PPGL and PPGI, etc….)<br>
Good Communication and Coordination skills with capability to build working relationships with various operations teams.<br>

<br><br>Candidate Requirements <br><p><b>Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge</b><br>
Two-Three years’ experience in the field of material planning (preferable)<br>
Should have knowledge of scheduling and materials requirement planning techniques<br>
Experience in using ERP specifically Material Management Modules, and preferably a previous SAP experience or equivalent<br>
Analytical skills to project patterns and daily changing requirements.</p><br>
<p><b>Minimum Entry Qualifications</b><br>
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering)<br>
A Material Planning Experience in PEB or Structural steel Industry is preferred</p><br>
<p><b>Technical & non technical</b><br>
Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)<br>
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on excel and Access Data Base or equivalent software.<br>
