<p><h4>Job Description</h4>
<p>The Mechanical Metrology Engineer is the resident expert in his field and, in conjunction with the Kuwait Senior Engineer, provides engineering and consultant services to the GOK. Conducts research and studies new equipment to ensure that the latest developments in technique and equipment are included in metrology planning for future acquisition. Assists in the development and implementation of a Metrology QA Program as required. Assists in obtaining and maintaining laboratory QA accreditation.</p>
<p>Assesses requirements and develops new measurement techniques and approaches related to mechanical, electro-mechanical, optical, electro-optical, chemical, and electro-chemical calibration methodology. Also performs analysis and evaluation of equipment test and performance requirements, and prescribes calibration approaches, test equipment, and servicing requirements necessary to assure measurement traceability. Directs, conducts, and evaluates the development of calibration procedures for assigned equipment categories. Conducts liaison and coordinates with technical societies and engineering facilities of other countries to remain current with the state-of-the-art and new measurement techniques.</p>
<p>Responsible for laboratory facility and related environmental control development, operation, and maintenance. Coordinates with civilian contractor and military civil engineering organizations on all projects affecting metrology facilities to ensure timely completion. Acts as consultant to GOK military and ministries on matters pertaining to metrology facilities and environmental requirements. Conducts liaison and coordination with technical societies and engineering facilities of other countries to remain current with state-of-the-art for metrology facilities and environmental control systems. Works with the Electrical Engineer on all matters associated with power production and facilities.</p>
<p>It is anticipated that engineers will be assigned as these job descriptions state and other related specific tasking details and priorities will be determined and set by the Commander, KAFMB and communicated to the contractor lead.</p>
<h4>Qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>An associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university and twelve (12) years of work experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards. Includes qualification requirements D and E. OR;</li>
<li>Completion of a U.S. military precision measurement and calibration school and twelve (12) years of work experience in the metrology and calibration field.</li>
<li>Completion of a precision measurement and calibration school at an accredited school, or within a specialized calibration firm, and twelve (12) years of experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating physical/dimensional precision measurement equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards.</li>
<li>Five (5) years of experience in technical oversight and training responsibilities of calibration and repair technicians with three (3) years within the last five (5) years.</li>
<li>Experience in researching requirements and maintaining calibration laboratory facility and related environmental control systems.</li>
<li>Must have an active secret US government clearance.</li>
<li>US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.</li>

<p>An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Service Assistant to join Telecommunication at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:</p>

<li>Answer all calls promptly and professionally according to departmental standards, maintaining a professional tone of voice and using standardized English and phrases. Assist with requests or direct them to the appropriate department or room number.</li>
<li>Handle all incoming and outgoing faxes, messages for in-house and expected guests, and follow up on all relevant duties and requests. Ensure all requests are handled in a timely manner and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Efficiently manage all emergencies and ensure requests are addressed promptly, escalating guest satisfaction issues to senior colleagues immediately.</li>
<li>Attend and participate in daily briefings, read and understand daily updates, and manage guest requests and reports through Service One and HotSOS. Ensure smooth shift handovers and maintain accurate records of all activities.</li>
<li>Accurately record, check, and hand over wake-up calls, ensuring all calls are made on time and recorded clearly.</li>
