Role Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Thabt's Kuwait City office.
• The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
• The Accountant will also assist with budget forecasting, tax preparation, and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws in Kuwait is a plus.
