<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The appointed faculty member shall:</p><p>Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with approved curricula.</p><p>Supervise student research projects and academic activities.</p><p>Provide professional mentorship to students.</p><p>Develop and maintain an independent research agenda with measurable scholarly output.</p><p>Publish in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases.</p><p>Participate in academic committees and institutional governance.</p><p>Contribute to curriculum development and program review processes.</p><p>Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><h2>Eligibility and Academic Qualifications</h2><p>Educational Requirements</p><p>A PhD degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS)</p><p>The bachelor s and Master s degree may be in Business/IT or a closely related field.</p><p>All degrees must be awarded by accredited universities and obtained through traditional, on-campus study formats.</p><p>Academic Rank and Experience Requirements</p><p>Minimum of 8 years of experience in a reputable academic institution and must have held the academic rank of Associate Professor for 4 years and the academic rank of Assistant Professor for 4 years.</p><p>Research and Scholarly Requirements</p><p>Minimum 13 full-length, high-quality academic papers published in reputable international peer-reviewed journals.</p><p>Publications must meet recognized academic standards</p><p>A Scopus h-index of 20 or higher is preferred.</p><p>At least three (3) publications within the last five years.</p><p>The applicant must be first author on a minimum of seven (7) publications.</p><p>Research extracted directly from the applicant s MSc or PhD thesis will not be counted.</p><p>Required Official Documentation</p><p>Applicants must submit the following:</p><ul><li>Detailed Curriculum Vitae (including academic rank history).</li><li>Official Experience Certificates verifying academic appointments.</li><li>Official Promotion Letters confirm academic rank advancement.</li><li>Teaching Evaluation Reports issued by the employing academic institution.</li><li>Copies of all academic degrees and official transcripts.</li><li>Research and Teaching Statements.</li><li>Copy of passport and recent photograph.</li></ul><p>Applicants must provide a valid contact number (including international country code) and an active email address for official correspondence.</p><p>All submitted documents are subject to formal verification and authentication in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.</p><p></p></section>
