<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><br></p><p>Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment to ensure maximum system reliability</p><p>Monitor the performance of PLC-controlled production lines, automation systems, and field devices, identifying abnormalities, and implementing corrective actions to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.</p><p>Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PLC programs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, actuators, control panels, electrical systems, and industrial communication networks.</p><p>Configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems, including Danfoss, Siemens, Schneider Electric.</p><p>Conduct routine inspections, functional testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.</p><p>Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of PLC, HMI, SCADA, electrical control panels, instrumentation, and automation systems, ensuring proper testing, and validation.</p><p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, calibration certificates, troubleshooting reports, PLC/HMI program backups, and technical documentation.</p><p>Report shortages of automation spare parts, electrical components, instrumentation devices, and critical maintenance materials to the supervisor</p><p>Analyze recurring equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation system reliability and efficiency.</p><p>Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement process improvements, reduce equipment downtime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and support continuous operational excellence.</p><p>Ensure all maintenance, installation, and modification activities comply with company procedures, ISO standards, GMP requirements (where applicable), and applicable electrical and automation regulations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications and language:</p><p><br></p><p>Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field – preferable in food production factory.</p><p><br></p><p>Minimum Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or Automation Technology.</p><p><br></p><p>English languages (verbal, written). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.</p><p><br></p></div>
