<p>About the Role We are looking for a skilled Programming Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in various programming languages and concepts. The ideal candidate will guide students through practical exercises, projects, and theoretical foundations of software development. Design and deliver engaging lectures on programming languages and software development concepts. Teach students C/C++, PHP, .NET, Kotlin/Flutter, MySQL, MS SQL, ensuring a strong grasp of both theory and practical application. Develop a structured curriculum incorporating industry standards and emerging technologies. Guide students through coding exercises, projects, and hands-on learning experiences. Assess student performance through assignments, coding challenges, and exams. Foster problem-solving and analytical thinking among students. Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and incorporate them into coursework. Provide mentorship and career guidance to students pursuing programming-related professions. Participate in academic research, faculty meetings, and collaborative projects.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Strong proficiency and teaching ability in C/C++, PHP, .NET, Kotlin/Flutter, MySQL, MS SQL. Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly. <p>Job Responsibilities : Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications according to business requirements. Develop and maintain web-based and desktop applications using programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript. Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code. Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services, and third-party software systems. Design, develop, and maintain databases using SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database transactions. Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, application errors, performance issues, and system failures. Perform application installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and regular maintenance. Develop and maintain software modules, backend services, and user interfaces. Integrate software applications with existing IT infrastructure, databases, and external systems. Perform software upgrades, patches, version control, and system backups. Monitor application performance, server logs, and system functionality to identify and resolve issues. Implement authentication, authorization, access controls, and basic application security measures. Use Git/GitHub or similar version control systems for code management and collaboration. Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and quality assurance. Prepare technical documentation, system manuals, database documentation, and troubleshooting guides. Provide technical support and training to end users when required. Coordinate with IT infrastructure, networking, and software vendors for system integration and technical support. Participate in software development projects, system upgrades, and process automation.</p><p>Technical Skills Required : Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC). Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and web application development. Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, database design, and optimization. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and debugging. Experience with software development tools, IDEs, Git, and version control. Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of application deployment, server configuration, and basic networking. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS will be an advantage. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and secure coding practices.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Requirements : Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Support Engineer, or similar role. Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience in software development, database management, and application support. Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in Kuwait.</p>
