Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and authoritative Sales Operations & Development Manager to lead the transformation of our sales function and drive aggressive growth within the HORECA sector. This is a turnaround leadership role focused on instilling discipline, enforcing accountability, and building a high-performance sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership & Accountability
    • Establish and enforce clear performance benchmarks across the sales team
    • Build a culture of discipline, punctuality, and accountability
    • Lead by example in work ethic, field presence, and professional conduct
    • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and reporting standards
  2. Sales Execution Excellence (Core Mandate)
    • Drive daily team performance through four non-negotiable pillars:
      • Route & Visit Discipline: Ensure 100% compliance with customer visit schedules
      • Full Product Offering: Enforce complete product portfolio presentation in every interaction (no order-taking behavior)
      • Aggressive Customer Acquisition: Lead and monitor consistent onboarding of high-value new customers
      • Basket Expansion: Increase product penetration within existing accounts, converting customers into multi-category buyers
  3. Business Development & Market Expansion
    • Leverage industry network to generate high-value leads and partnerships
    • Identify new market opportunities and expand company footprint in Kuwait
    • Drive competitor displacement through strategic selling and service differentiation
  4. Team Leadership & Development
    • Manage, coach, and mentor the sales team to achieve peak performance
    • Address underperformance decisively and maintain high standards
    • Conduct regular field visits alongside sales representatives
    • Foster a results-driven and disciplined team environment
  5. Customer Engagement & Retention
    • Personally engage with key and at-risk customers
    • Resolve escalations and complex customer issues effectively
    • Restore relationships with lost accounts and ensure long-term retention
    • Champion exceptional service standards across the team
  6. Reporting & Sales Operations
    • Oversee CRM usage, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
    • Track KPIs, sales performance, and pipeline development
    • Submit daily/weekly performance reports to the General Manager
    • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirement open for Arab Nationals

5 8 years of experience in sales, preferably within HORECA, FMCG, or food distribution

Proven experience in sales team leadership or supervisory role

Valid Kuwait driving license required

Strong knowledge of Kuwait s HORECA market is a major advantage
