  • Responsible for Credit and Collection Department
  • Maintain the Corporate credit policy
  • Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management
  • Create a credit scoring model
  • Manage customer credit files
  • Review new customer applications and perform credit checks.
  • Monitor the credit granting and updating process
  • Accept or reject the credit recommendations
  • Set and monitor credit terms (payment period, limits, risk levels)
  • Visit the customers to maintain and sustain relations
  • Periodically review and adjust credit limits.
  • Monitor customers, aging and credit limits reports.
  • Coordinating with Sales Department for Customer relations
  • Monitor exposure against approved credit limits.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policy

Skills

  • B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, or a similar field or B.Com (as a minimum graduation degree)
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a credit officer.
  • Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complicated financial data.
  • Strong ethical behaviour and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
  • Bilingual English / Arabic
