Job Role:
Lead and supervise workshop operations to ensure efficient maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles and equipment in compliance with company standards, HSE requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of mechanics, auto electricians, mill maintenance, welding & fabrication staff, and helpers to ensure high productivity and quality
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on vehicles and equipment
- Supervise all workshop activities with hands-on involvement in technical matters
- Manage and monitor Preventive Maintenance System (PMS), assigning tasks to relevant teams
- Ensure warranty processes are properly followed, tracked, and documented
- Prepare and ensure readiness of vehicles/equipment for government and client inspections within deadlines
- Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion of all jobs
- Review spare parts inventory and coordinate with stores and procurement for replenishment
- Forecast and arrange spare parts requirements for ongoing and upcoming jobs
- Provide technical support to field operations to ensure reliability and service continuity
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities
People Management & Compliance:
- Identify training needs and provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training to team members
- Participate in interviewing and technical assessment of candidates
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and HSE standards
- Implement and monitor HSE practices within the workshop
- Attend and contribute to weekly departmental meetings

Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in workshop supervision (Oil & Gas preferred)
- Experience in fleet/equipment maintenance and repair operations
- HSE or relevant technical certifications preferred
