We are seeking a qualified Civil Projects & Maintenance Engineer to manage and oversee civil construction, maintenance, and facility projects. The role involves project planning, coordination with contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and managing project timelines and costs.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while utilizing project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera to track progress and deliverables.
2. Coordinate with various departments including engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, resources, and timelines, providing a clear roadmap for project teams and stakeholders.
4. Conduct regular project meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and facilitate collaboration among team members, fostering an environment of open communication.
5. Monitor project performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure transparency and accountability.
6. Identify potential risks and develop risk management plans to minimize impacts on project timelines and deliverables, utilizing tools such as risk assessments and contingency planning.
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a culture of safety and risk awareness among team members.
8. Mentor and guide junior project staff, providing support and training to help them develop their skills and advance their careers within the organization.
9. Engage with external stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to maintain strong relationships and ensure their needs are met throughout the project process.

Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering/ master's degree specialized in the same field
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in civil engineering position Related industry experience will be an added advantage
• Experience in design software's
• Proven project management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead complex projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
• Expertise in project management software, including MS Project and Primavera, for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to analyze project performance metrics and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
