Job Details

  • Accountable for conducting competency mapping for allocated senior and junior staff.
  • To provide expert support to the Group during the screening and selection process of senior and Targeted Junior Employees.
  • Conducting awareness sessions, project briefings, coaching sessions, short training sessions related to sub-surface (SS) technical subjects as per company requirement.
  • To act as technical expert guide and mentor for overall sub surface groups as per company organization chart.
  • To facilitate & promote the understanding of task goals with assigned Group and members.
  • To support and add value during Employee Developmental planning with SMART goals using blended learning tools and to ensure that the development plan designed is acceptable to all the stakeholders involved.
  • To participate in weekly meetings with identified pairs and to identify the implementation progress and gather feedback.
  • Design and develop as well as add value to developing various formats to monitor and track progress of overall project and the development plan in particular.
  • To conduct Quality checks at various stages of project planning, design and implementation for the assigned Groups.
  • To provide efficient coordination support with other stakeholders of all assigned technical subsurface projects as per directives from the Team Leader.
  • To Coordinate and organize learning interventions for selected employees as per company needs.
  • To attend all meetings related to every assigned project from time to time and as per Team Leader advisory.
  • To organize and conduct presentations to Technical Committees headed by respective Dy.CEO as assigned related to sub surface training project progress reviews and regular monitoring.
  • Effectively coordinate and work as a team with companies nominated Team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure that all assignments, OJT and in-house inputs are provided to concerned target employees on timely basis.
  • To ensure roll out of Development Plans for the group and its stage wise implementation with KPIs duly tracked on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Any other tasks assigned.

Skills

  • Graduate in Reservoir / Petroleum / Geosciences / Drilling & workover Engineering
  • Minimum Requirements: Minimum 15 years' experience in Sub-Surface disciplines Overall International Oil & Gas Companies / Joint Venture Experience.
  • The knowledge areas covered by this position are Geosciences, drilling, well workover, reservoir related and rigs. Additional knowledge of Production operations and E&P cycle. The candidate needs to have good knowledge of employee development in these technical sub disciplines and must have participated in employee training needs identification, on the job training, coaching, mentoring as well as instructional sessions to facilitate learning. Advanced level knowledge of sub-surface work processes in Oil & Gas sector.
  • Expert knowledge of technical training courses, technical software requirements, On Job Training, coaching, mentoring and e-learning modules available and required for Subsurface disciplines.
  • Experience in designing training roadmaps, employee development plans and OJT process maps as per discipline requirements.
  • Skilled level knowledge of sub-surface competencies and competency modeling process with knowledge of Technical Software associated with Sub-surface.
  • Should have exceptional communication & facilitation skills as well as project management, networking skills, leadership, multi-tasking skills, mentoring and coaching skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word/excel/ppt), MS Project etc.
