Telesales/Call Center agent

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Tele sales / Call Center Agent to promote and sell banking products, primarily credit cards, through outbound and inbound calls. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to meet sales targets while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential and existing customers via phone to promote credit cards and banking products
  • Explain product features, benefits, fees, and eligibility criteria clearly
  • Generate leads and convert calls into successful sales
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate customer records and call logs in the system
  • Handle customer inquiries and address objections professionally
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and call quality standards
  • Follow up with interested customers to close sales
  • Coordinate with internal teams for application processing and approvals

Skills

Requirements & Skills:

  • Previous experience in telesales, call center, or banking sales is preferred
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Good knowledge of credit cards and banking products (preferred)
  • Customer-focused with strong listening skills
  • Basic computer skills and CRM system knowledge
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated
