Head of Video Content Creation

A leading Social Media Creative agency is looking for an innovative and strategic Head of Content Creation to lead our content department across all formats social, digital, video, photography, and integrated campaigns. This role requires a creative leader with strong storytelling capabilities, hands-on expertise in content production, and deep knowledge of digital platforms. You will drive the content vision, manage a team of creators, and ensure delivery of impactful, high-quality content for top-tier brands and government entities in the region.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of content creators, editors, copywriters, videographers, and designers. Set clear creative direction, ensure quality control, and drive team performance. Develop workflows, content standards, and best practices across the department. Content Strategy & Ideation Oversee the end-to-end content creation process—from concept to execution. Develop innovative content strategies tailored to client objectives and audience insights. Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Production teams to bring ideas to life across multiple formats. Execution & Creative Quality Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, tone of voice, platform best practices, and campaign goals. Review and approve content to maintain high creative and technical standards. Guide the development of scripts, storyboards, editorial calendars, and creative concepts. Client & Stakeholder Management Work closely with key clients, including leading brands and government entities, to understand requirements and present creative ideas. Manage expectations, provide creative recommendations, and maintain strong client relationships. Data-Driven Content Optimization Monitor content performance across channels and apply insights to optimize future work. Stay updated on platform trends, new content formats, and algorithm changes. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment Partner with Production, Design, Social Media, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless execution. Contribute to pitches, proposals, and new business opportunities. Requirements8–12 years of experience in content creation within a digital, social media, or creative agency. Proven experience developing content for leading brands and government entities in the UAE. Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, visual craftsmanship, and multi-format content. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Deep understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and audience engagement. Ability to balance creativity with strategic thinking and brand guidelines. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
