Civil Site Engineer required to work in the State of Kuwait.

Qualifications and requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

2. Practical experience in the execution of structural steel and finishes for at least 3 years.

3. Provide experience certificates from previous employers.

4. Ability to quantify quantities and prepare pricing and initial project costs.

5. Proficiency in reading and analyzing structural and architectural drawings.

6. Ability to manage the site and follow up with subcontractors and workers, coordinating between different execution items.

7. Ability to monitor the schedule and progress rates and address delays on site.

8. Good knowledge of quality requirements, handover of works, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

9. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

10. Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is an added advantage.

11. Active membership in the Kuwait Engineers Association.

12. Valid Kuwaiti driver's license.

13. Owns a private car.

14. Demonstrates commitment, discipline, and the ability to manage site responsibilities, troubleshoot, and make decisions.

Job responsibilities

- Daily supervision of project sites and monitoring progress.

- Carrying out site inspections, taking measurements, and quantifying quantities.

- Preparing and reviewing project pricing before submitting bid proposals.

- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring quality and speed of execution.

- Receiving completed works and reviewing them before moving to the next phase.

- Monitoring site material and fabrication needs.

- Coordinating between structural works, finishes, electrical, plumbing, insulation, and other items.

- Preparing periodic reports on achievements, notes, and site constraints.

- Tracking the schedule and ensuring project duration is met.

- Maintaining quality of execution, reducing waste, and rework.
