Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Graduate (Kuwaiti National), to join us on an iconic project in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be taking their Engineering background and developing it further.


We envisage success in this role to include;


  • Undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the discipline related inspections and test plans (ITP's).
  • Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
  • Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and discharge instruction to the contractor.
  • Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring the same complies with contracts / QCS specifications, safety and health risk assessment and environmental mitigating measures respectively on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
  • Preparing Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site that are believed to have failed or if the contractor is not complying with verbal instructions and subsequently complete a Non Conformance Report (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
  • Checking and ensuring effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
  • Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
  • Monitoring the contractor’s (ITP's) and quality plan(s) in regards to discipline related works.
  • Inspecting materials delivered and report on quantity and technical compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include experience from graduate level to a maximum of 5 years post graduate experience, partnered with a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering field such as civil, mechanical or electrical studies.


Please note that this position is for Kuwaiti Nationals (meaning that your Nationality is of the State of Kuwait).
