Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of appetizers, including salads, dips, and finger foods, ensuring each dish meets the established quality standards and is visually appealing to guests.
- Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen staff to plan and execute the appetizer menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current food trends to enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure all appetizers are cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature for guests.
- Adapt recipes and techniques based on guest feedback and dietary restrictions, ensuring all guests have enjoyable dining experiences.
- Participate in the presentation of appetizers during service, ensuring they are plated beautifully and presented according to restaurant standards.
