Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze transmission line structures using advanced engineering software to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, ultimately enhancing the reliability of energy distribution.
- Membership with KSE (Kuwait Society of Engineers) is mandatory.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability, utilizing geotechnical and environmental data to inform design decisions and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to develop comprehensive project plans that align with client objectives and budget constraints.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards, thereby maintaining project integrity and client satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation, including design calculations, project updates, and compliance records, to facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, using project management tools to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise to minimize project delays and enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and transmission line design, applying new knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team while sharing best practices and technical expertise.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design software for creating detailed transmission line designs.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles relevant to transmission line engineering.
- Experience in project management methodologies to effectively oversee engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
