  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects during the design and tender stages.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
  • Tendering & Procurement:
  • Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and contracts.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Cost Control & Reporting:
  • Track project costs and provide regular financial reports.
  • Identify and manage risks related to cost overruns.
  • Contract Administration:
  • Manage contractual claims and variations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Valuation & Payment:
  • Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Certify payments to contractors and suppliers.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering.


Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Cost Estimation Software (e.g., CostX, Candy, QS CAD)

MS Excel & Project Management Tools

Understanding of FIDIC and other contract standards.



Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and numerical ability.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
