We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Finance Manager with strong experience in the FMCG manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, costing, and P&L reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the manufacturing division.
- Monitor budget variances, analyze performance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to support business decisions.
Costing & Manufacturing Finance
- Oversee product costing, BOM analysis, and production cost allocation.
- Analyze direct and indirect manufacturing costs and ensure accurate cost capture.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), production efficiency, and wastage reports.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and provide insights to improve margins.
Financial Reporting & P&L Management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Manage full P&L reporting for the manufacturing unit, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
ERP & Systems Management
- Manage and utilize Microsoft Dynamics for financial modules, costing, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry, system controls, and financial integration across departments.
- Support enhancements, troubleshooting, and training related to Microsoft Dynamics.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong internal control systems across inventory, procurement, and production cycles.
- Review and validate financial transactions related to manufacturing and supply chain activities.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance roles within the FMCG - Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Bilingual (Arabic & English) – mandatory.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
