· Development, implementation, and strict adherence to Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs.
- Ensures quality control activities including sampling and analysis of raw materials and finished goods, with the Processing parameters’ inspection on the Production floor.
- Ensures compliance with Standard and product Specification, Regulations and Customer Requirements.
· Analyze the NCR incidents and take proper CAPA.
- Ensures all tests and sampling methods/procedures are verified and followed to comply with standard/product specification.
- Ensures data or test results reported are correct and accurate in line with Good Laboratory practice by approving the validity of raw data, computation, expression of results and transferring/reporting data.
- Execute CAPA from Customer Complaint and ensure compliance with CAPA outcome.
- Ensures handling of Quality Dept. housekeeping and lab. Equipment and chemical inventory, and Quality staff competences.
- Give the required-on job training for Quality control team regarding the laboratory testing.
- Coordinate with the other Department managers and external parties on specification and requirement.
- Analyze the NCR incidents and take proper CAPA.
· Ensure all job specifications are available for production processes through Quality Planning and execution of job specification, shade card availability, test parameters.
· Quality checks schedule monitoring & control.
· Share reports of Non-Conformance to all concerned departments and ensure correction and prevention are properly managed.
· Monitoring CCP’s & OPRP’s implementation by the production departments and ensuring critical limits are not exceeded.
· Coordinate implementation of quality standards of Raw materials, in process materials and finished goods.
· Responsible for all testing & documentation activity related requirements.
· Responsible for Implementing & training to the ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC - 22000 standards.
- Stop/Hold the production if they are non-conforming to the specifications & CCP exceeding critical limits.
- Stop/Hold production if products are not complying with food safety standard.
- Take decision on online, semi-finished and finished non-conforming materials placed on hold.
- Reject the RM & PM consignment if they are not complying with specification and food safety standards.
- Stop the consignment if the products are found with non-conformity
- Disposition of non-conformity products including shredding.
Skills
· Science or Engineering degree with 10 to 12 years of experience especially in flexible packing quality control.
· in-depth knowledge of flexible packaging plant all operations, Testing, documentation, and manufacturing process.
· Excellent communication skills
· Leadership ability and strong management skills.
· Good data gathering and analysis skills.
· Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.
· Proficiency in the use of MS Office.
· Proficiency with ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC - 22000 standards
· Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
