About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Steward to join Stewarding Team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: <ul><li>To properly handle the dishwashing machine, including turning on and off, de-liming, changing water and adding chemicals. </li><li>To safely handle chemicals and keep them stored properly. </li><li>To load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly. </li><li>To ensure a clean, neat and organized work area. </li><li>To handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor. </li><li>To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. </li><li>To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff. </li><li>To safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine. </li><li>To safely utilize all cleaning compounds, chemicals and materials. </li><li>To follow a daily and weekly schedule of polishing all silver items in the hotel. </li><li>To clean, polish, sort and transport required silver. </li></ul>About You: <ul><li>Should have 2-year minimum experience in same role in a five-star hotel.</li><li>Work in a multicultural environment.</li><li>Good Communication skills</li></ul>About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in dinar (KWD), the local currency of Kuwait. What You Will Do <ul><li>Sorts, processes and folds Rooms and F&B linens such as sheets, towels, table clothes, and napkins. </li><li>Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for washing. Sorts out stained or torn linen. Loads and unloads driers. </li><li>Shakes wet sheets, table linens and napkins prior to ironing in order to spread them out. Feeds washed linens into ironer. Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate. </li><li>Sorts clean towels, rugs and robes. Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack. </li><li>Operates and maintains folding equipment. Responsibilities SUMMARY The Common Support Equipment Technician diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Common Support Equipment (CSE); inspects and approves completed maintenance actions; solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagram schematics, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals, technical publications and maintenance actions. The Technician uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, and document maintenance actions. The Technician prepares CSE for preservation and mobility deployment. JOB DETAILS Direct Report Project HSE Manager Operational Scope Civil Works | Drilling & Completions | Work Over | Facilities | Production Supervises Mechanical Lifting contractors; Drilling Rig Lifting Crews; any Contractor performing Mechanical Lifting activities under SLB operational control; site level DROPS auditors and HSE Specialists in their execution of the DROPS Program 2. ROLE PURPOSE The Mechanical Lifting & DROPS Subject Matter Expert Lead is the SLB Mutriba Project authority for the safe design, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Mechanical Lifting and Dropped Objects Prevention (DROPS) activities across the Mutriba Field Development Project. The role combines planning and operational SME oversight of lifting operations with assurance of the Project's DROPS system implementation, ensuring full compliance with SLB standards, client requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks across all project phases and contractor interfaces. 3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Mechanical Lifting SME → Lead the planning, preparation, implementation, monitoring, and review of Mechanical Lifting Plans (MLPs) for all project phases, including all prevention and mitigation measures. → Review and validate all critical lifting plans prepared by SLB and Contractors, categorize lifts in accordance with the Lift Categorization Questionnaire, and submit Critical and Non-Routine lifts to the right channels. → Personally supervise the execution of Non-Routine, Critical, and Complex lifts across all project locations, such as Rig Mobilization, Initial Rig Moves, Skidding operations and de-mobilization. → Ensure all lifting risk assessments (HARC/JSA) are prepared, reviewed, and adequate prior to the commencement of any lifting operation. → Assess Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJSMs) related to mechanical lifting operations and verify that controls identified in the MLP and HARC are communicated and understood by all participants. → Advise and stop lifting operations during adverse weather conditions (lightning, high-wind events) and verifysuspension and resumption criteria are clearly defined and enforced at site level. → Establish, maintain, and audit all Project Lifting Equipment Registers across all rig sites and call-out services, ensuring all lifting appliances and accessories are inspected, certified, color-coded, and fit for purpose. → Verify that third-party lifting equipment introduced to SLB managed sites holds valid certification from an LEEAaccredited or equivalent body, aligned with applicable standards. → Ensure adequate storage and in-service maintenance of all lifting gear and accessories in accordance with Project and client's requirements. → Drive compliance with SLB's Mechanical Lifting Standard (SLB-HSE-S013) and Mechanical Lifting B.O.O.K. (SLB-HSE-M013) across all contractor interfaces. → Conduct frequent, structured audits of all ML activities and equipment at rig sites and call-out service locations, documenting findings and tracking corrective actions closure. → Perform ML related assessments for the Annual Audit and Inspection Plan (AAIP) to verify ongoing compliance with SLB standards, client procedures, and regulatory requirements. → Report all lifting-related events in QUEST (SLB incident management system) in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of classification, causal analysis, and corrective/preventive action assignment. → Lead or actively participate in investigations of any incident, near miss, or high-potential event related to mechanical lifting operations. → Coach, assess, and verify the competence of personnel involved in ML operations such as Lifting Supervisors, Crane Operators, Banksmen, and Riggers, against defined competency frameworks. → Maintain competency assessment records and ensure training validity periods are tracked and renewed. → Deliver or coordinate delivery of ML awareness and technical training as required by project needs. → Serve as primary interface with customer's Lifting Authority for ML plans, approvals, and regulatory compliance. DROPS Authority → Project-level DROPS Program Assurance Lead for integrity, consistency, and effectiveness of the DROPS prevention program across all Mutriba Project locations. → Review, evaluate, and formally validate DROPS Inspection Reports submitted by rig sites and service locations, verifying accuracy on findings, classification, and effectiveness and closure of corrective actions. → Validate the correct implementation of DROPS, including DROPS Zone identification, zoning maps, barrier deployment, DROPS Picture Books, tethered tool program, and related. → Conduct structured DROPS Program audits across all active project phases and locations, assessing compliance with SLB-HSE-S023 (DROPS Standard) and the DROPS B.O.O.K. (SLB-HSE-M023). → Verify DROPS inspection checklists for rig-ups, and the maintenance of DROPS Inspection Schedules. → Support site-level HSE Supervisors in identifying dropped object and Work at Height hazards. → Ensure DROPS incidents are reported, classified, and investigated in accordance with project and SLBrequirements, and lessons-learned dissemination across the project. → Maintain and monitor DROPS program performance metrics; escalate systemic non-conformances. As the OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) you will escort un-cleared personnel into areas and monitor un-cleared personnel while performing work. You will log in and out all LN/OCN contractors and count personnel before and after they perform duties; notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted. Essential Job Functions Performs a wide range of Local National/Other Country National (LN/OCN) escorting coverage. Makes contact with LN/OCN personnel at designated entry facility after they are processed for entry and receive their exchange badges; providing and briefing them on rules and procedures. Escorts LN/OCN personnel until daily work is completed, the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps. Ensure LN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband items (i.e. weapons, drugs, etc.). Maintain sight of all vehicles and personnel when performing LN/OCN escort duties. Provide for safety and welfare of oneself and escorted personnel (such as evacuating to protective shelter in case of attack). About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily marine construction activities including dredging, piling, rock filling, quay wall construction, and subsea pipeline support works. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, practical knowledge of marine operations, and the ability to manage site crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
