Role: Mechanical Engineer - Automotive (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $55 - $100/hour
Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing and optimizing mechanical components for next-generation systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:• Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.• Develop and test prototypes to validate design performance.• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose solutions to improve product functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works or Auto CAD is required.• Experience with FEA and CFD simulation tools is necessary.• Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes is required.• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is necessary.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
