Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria for a Senior Academic Advisor. The Senior Academic Advisor will provide personalized academic and career counseling to students, assist with university application processes, guide students in educational decision-making, and navigate scholarship opportunities. The role also includes hosting information sessions, collaborating with universities, and keeping up-to-date with global education trends to provide accurate and relevant advice to students.
Qualifications Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising with experience supporting students in their educational journeys. Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain academic options clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Experience in Career Counseling to guide students in aligning education choices with long-term career goals. A solid background in Education with knowledge of global academic systems and admission processes. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with students and international academic institutions. Experience in working with diverse student populations, including international and government-sponsored students, is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
