Job Summary
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a welcoming environment and a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering service in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Description
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables if required
- Present menus, provide detailed information on menu items, and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the system
- Serve food and drinks promptly and according to hotel/restaurant standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Handle billing, process payments, and provide accurate change or receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times
- Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant or service area
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for billing and transactions
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
- Arabic speakers and fluency in English are required.
