Job Summary

We, Mashaarea company is seeking a highly capable UAV professional who can execute fully or semi-integrated drone projects, not merely operate drones. The ideal candidate must be able to manage a project from field data acquisition to final deliverables, with a strong understanding of surveying principles, data processing workflows, software tools, and client-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Understand project scope and deliverables, plan drone missions, select UAV platforms and sensors, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Drone Data Acquisition: Conduct drone surveys including topographic surveys, orthophoto mapping, 3D modeling, construction progress monitoring, and inspections.

Data Processing & Analysis: Process data using software such as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, or DroneDeploy and generate orthomosaic, DEM/DSM, point clouds, and measurements.

Deliverables & Reporting: Prepare final outputs in CAD, GIS, PDF, or cloud formats and coordinate with specialized engineers when required.

Technical Coordination: Maintain strong understanding of project inputs, outputs, and accuracy requirements and communicate effectively with surveyors, GIS specialists, and engineers.

Skills

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong experience in drone surveying and mapping, solid understanding of photogrammetry principles, proficiency in drone data processing software, and working knowledge of CAD/GIS workflows. Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end or near end-to-end projects.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in drone-based surveying, mapping, or integrated UAV projects. Proven experience delivering complete or near-complete drone projects is required.

Qualifications & Certifications

Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field. Valid UAV pilot certification as per local aviation authority. RTK/PPK or GIS certifications are an advantage.

Role Clarification

This role is not a pure drone operator position. The candidate is expected to understand and manage the full project workflow and take ownership of technical outputs.
