We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Head for our groceries division in Al Farawaniyah, Kuwait. This role is pivotal in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with retailers and distributors in the grocery sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the grocery market dynamics and a proven track record in channel management. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance our market presence, optimize product distribution, and ultimately increase sales. As a leader in the organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our overall business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement channel strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and enhance market share in the grocery sector.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions and adaptations.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to design promotional campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive sales.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, outlining performance metrics and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee inventory management and supply chain processes to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions, gather feedback from customers, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty within the grocery channel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all channel activities.
