Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring all food, beverage, and non-food items required for the company’s operations. The role ensures that all purchases meet quality, cost, and delivery standards while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the smooth functioning of F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase food, beverage, packaging, and kitchen supply items as per operational requirements.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Coordinate with chefs, storekeepers, and accounts to ensure proper stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Verify and process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Conduct regular market price checks to ensure competitive pricing.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company quality and hygiene standards.
- Support the finance team in vendor payments and reconciliations.
- Assist in implementing cost control and waste reduction measures.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing within the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, suppliers, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in import and local procurement.
- Knowledge of HACCP or food safety standards.
- Strong vendor network in the F&B industry.
