We are looking for a Procurement and Warehouse Operations Officer to oversee the end-to-end
procurement process and warehouse operations for our restaurant chain. This role is responsible for
sourcing quality products, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring
efficient warehouse operations to support restaurant supply needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing of food
ingredients, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other operational supplies.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and ensure
consistent supply.
Ensure all purchased goods meet quality standards, food safety regulations, and company
guidelines.
Manage procurement contracts, daily purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
Warehouse Operations Responsibilities:
Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods to stores.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels meet operational requirements
without overstocking or waste.
Implement warehouse organization and best practices for space optimization, FIFO (First In, First
Out), and proper handling of perishable goods.
Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and distribution schedules to ensure timely and efficient
restaurant supply replenishment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food storage regulations.
Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency, reducing waste and improving cost control.
Skills
- Proven experience in procurement and warehouse management.
- Experience in F&B is a must, with knowledge of local supplier line-ups.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with experience in warehouse staff supervision.
- Experience working with multi-location restaurant chains or food distribution companies.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations for food and beverage procurement.
