Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Master Pattern Maker and Cutter to lead our production team. In this key position, you will translate design concepts into flawless patterns, oversee precision fabric cutting, and supervise our team of assistant tailors (sewers) to maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Pattern Making & Draping: Create precise flat patterns and execute complex 3D draping on mannequins to bring fashion sketches and concepts to life.
• Cutting & Fabric Handling: Accurately cut a wide range of fabrics—including delicate silks, structured cottons, chiffons, and knits—minimizing waste and ensuring perfect alignment.
• GCC Trend Alignment: Apply deep knowledge of GCC and Kuwaiti women's fashion trends, preferences, and body fit standards to refine designs for our local client base.
• Team Supervision: Direct, guide, and inspect the work of assistant tailors and sewers to ensure construction, finishing, and deadlines meet atelier standards, while collaborating closely with the fashion designer to execute design concepts seamlessly.
• Sample Development & Fitting: Conduct garment fittings, identify fit issues, and make precise pattern alterations prior to final stitching.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Master Cutter and Pattern Maker in women's apparel (day-to-day wear and casual-chic fashion).
• Strong technical mastery of both flat-pattern making and drape-pattern making.
• Deep knowledge of GCC fashion trends, local tailoring standards, and regional fit preferences.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a team of sewers.
• Expertise in working with a wide variety of textiles, weights, and delicate fabrics.
• High attention to detail and strong time-management skills.

Salary: Negotiable (Based on experience)
