Job description

To be responsible for the execution, supervision, and technical coordination of electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes (NFPA/IEC/local authority requirements as applicable to KNPC-regulated projects). The candidate will coordinate with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and Client/Consultant representatives to ensure timely execution, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

Experience: Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within MEP/construction contracting environment

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical works within oil & gas, industrial, or institutional construction projects
• Prior experience with KNPC or similar authority-regulated projects preferred
• Hands-on experience in fire alarm systems installation, testing, and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, cabling, and electrical systems installation, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with NFPA and local fire authority (Kuwait Fire Force) requirements
• Experience in shop drawing review, material submittals, and as-built documentation
• Professional command of English (spoken and written) for technical correspondence and reporting
• Valid Kuwait driving license and transferable residency
• Ability to work full-time on-site on a daily basis
