Job Purpose

To advise customers on garment shaping and alterations in line with their preferences and specifications, while carrying out high-quality tailoring and repairs. The role ensures timely delivery of altered garments, delivering exceptional customer service, enhancing the company’s image, and encouraging continued patronage from key customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Functional Roles & Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Service

• Advise customers on available alteration and tailoring options to suit their requirements, preferences, and tastes, enabling informed purchasing decisions.

  
  

• Deliver personalized customer service by understanding customer needs and providing expert tailoring advice.

  
  

Tailoring & Alterations

• Perform garment alterations and repairs accurately in line with customer specifications.

  
  

• Ensure all items are completed to a high standard of quality and delivered within agreed timelines.

  
  

• Maintain consistency in workmanship to support a positive and premium shopping experience.

  
  

Operational Excellence

• Handle garments with care to maintain brand and quality standards.

  
  

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

  
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient tailoring workspace.

  
  

Job Requirements

Education / Certification

• High School qualification

  
  

• Diploma or Certificate in Tailoring

  
  

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience within the retail industry, preferably in tailoring or garment alteration

  
  

Languages

• English – mandatory

  
  

• Multilingual skills – advantageous

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

  
  

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
