  • Lead R&D projects for new product development and component design
  • Drive innovations in energy efficiency, smart IoT integration, and eco-friendly refrigerants
  • Collaborate across departments to bring concepts to reality
  • Oversee prototype development, testing & validation (BIS, ISO, AHRI standards)
  • Guide design using CAD/CAE, thermal modeling & simulation
  • Benchmark competitors and define specs, timelines & budgets
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing R&D team

Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master’s in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering
  • 7–12 years’ R&D experience in HVAC/appliances (3+ years in leadership)
  • Strong grasp of refrigeration, compressors, airflow, and control systems
  • Skilled in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, CFD
  • Familiar with BEE, CE, RoHS standards
  • Project management excellence & innovation mindset
  • Preferred: Experience with inverter/window/commercial ACs & smart IoT features
