We are seeking an experienced O&M Senior Tendering Engineer with a strong background in CCGT projects 300 MW + 100 mwt, heavty duty gas turbines, cost estimation experience, mechanical and electrical engineering, particularly within the power project sector, to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the tendering process, ensuring that our bids are competitive, comprehensive, and aligned with industry standards. This position requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills. The O&M Senior Tendering Engineer will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and subcontractors, to gather essential information and formulate effective tender submissions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the preparation and submission of comprehensive tender documents for O&M projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
2. Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.
3. Coordinate with engineering teams to gather necessary technical data and ensure alignment with tender submissions.
4. Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing and strategies to enhance the competitiveness of bids.
5. Prepare and present tender proposals to clients, highlighting key benefits and differentiators of our services.
6. Manage the tendering process from inception to completion, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and reliable services.
8. Participate in post-tender evaluations and debriefs to improve future tender submissions.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience in tendering for O&M projects, particularly in the power sector, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
2. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
4. Proficient in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of tendering processes.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
6. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Relevant certifications in project management or engineering are a plus.
9. Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
