Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Odoo ERP, particularly the Accounting module. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting operations, support financial reporting, and play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of Odoo ERP.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with company policies.
- Handle customer and supplier balances.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare VAT reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Lead the accounting side of Odoo ERP implementation.
- Configure and improve Odoo Accounting workflows.
- Test new accounting features and coordinate with the Odoo implementation partner.
- Train internal users on Odoo accounting processes.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Odoo Accounting experience (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting
- Cost Accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP implementation is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Experience working with external auditors.
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial processes.
- Experience coordinating with Odoo developers or implementation partners.
