GAS & OIL CO. Opening for Technical Engineer

1. Educational Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science degree.
• Specialization: Advanced coursework or certifications in cementing technologies, drilling engineering, or reservoir engineering are highly preferred.

2. Experience Requirements

• Field Experience: Minimum of 6 years of field experience in oilfield services, with a specific focus on cementing, well stimulation, or drilling operations.
• Project Experience: Experience in cementing job designs, including laboratory testing and pre-job simulation.
• Specific Roles: Previous experience as a Field Service Tech or Technical Professional in cementing is common. 

3. Responsibilities & Abilities

• Job Planning: Prepares laboratory test requests and reviews test results for field application.
• Operational Supervision: Supervises the safe and efficient execution of cementing jobs, including bulk handling and slurry mixing.
• Data Analysis: Performs post-job analysis of well site data to improve performance.
• Safety Adherence: Strict adherence to Management System procedures and safety regulations.

Skills

1.Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Cement Design: Proficient in designing cement slurries to meet specific wellbore conditions (density, setting time, strength).
• Simulation Software: Ability to use industry-standard cementing simulation software, CEMPRO & Plug Pro is preferred.
• Equipment Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cementing pumps, mixers, densometers, bulk cement storage systems, and high-pressure lines.
• Laboratory Testing: Understanding of API standard tests for cement systems.
• Diagnostics: Capability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues on site.
