Job description
Responsible for measuring, mapping, and setting out site coordinates to ensure construction activities are executed accurately as per approved drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land and construction surveys to establish reference points, levels, and boundaries
- Perform setting out for civil works (foundations, structures, roads, utilities)
- Use surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level) for precise measurements
- Verify site coordinates against engineering drawings and design specifications
- Prepare and maintain survey reports, drawings, and records
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
- Monitor and check construction progress with respect to layout and positioning
- Identify and report discrepancies between design and actual site conditions
- Ensure compliance with project standards and safety procedures
Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying
- Experience in construction / EPC / infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in surveying tools and software (AutoCAD, GIS, etc.)
- Knowledge of site layout, leveling, and geodetic calculations
