DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS


EXPANDING RESTAURANT OPERATOR

FULL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

BASED IN KUWAIT


Food People have partnered with an expanding restaurant operator in their search for a Director of Operations. As Director of Operations you will have responsibility for the full business management including P&L responsibility. You will be leading the business on a daily basis and will report directly into the CEO. The role will be responsible for driving profitability and service as well as delivering the growth strategy set out.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Take full business management responsibility as well as full operational P&L management.
  • Identify/mentor, train and coach the leadership team to execute initiatives that produce consistently high levels of performance and service.
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is kept to the highest level and that operating standards are effectively measured.
  • Ensure that all restaurants successfully execute local store marketing and national promotions as well as new products and processes.
  • Implement best practice and remove any bottlenecks in the restaurants, maximising efficiency across all outlets.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities, emerging trends and stay relevant to customer expectations.
  • Manage all departments including Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and HR.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage labour cost, productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish strong networks, stay up-to-date with market developments and proactively take action to carry the business and brands to greater heights.


KEY INGREDIENTS


  • Experience operating in a multi-branded restaurant group is essential.
  • Experience working with international brands is advantageous.
  • Experience and background in handling full business P&L is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be prepared to be a hands-on leader and able to work in a dynamic business.
  • Experience creating, implementing and training SOP’s.
