OB PURPOSE: As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for representing the company and promoting the company’s product portfolio by executing the company’s sales strategy and maintaining customer satisfaction levels. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, prospecting new clients, maintaining existing client relationships, and meeting individual sales targets set by the company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide a warm greeting to customers, actively engage with them to comprehend their requirements, and strive to surpass their expectations through exceptional service.
- Responsible for customer assistance, cash register operation, sales / monetary transactions, opening / closing procedures.
- Maintain positive customer and employee relations, reporting any problems/complaints immediately to the store manager.
- Assist with inventory, display, merchandising and placement of stock on sales floor, stock rotation and mark-downs to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Follow store policies and procedures as well as general company policies.
- Be aware of possible damage, theft or potential safety hazards, report observations immediately to the store manager.
- Assist with tidying up or arranging merchandise and housekeeping tasks to ensure a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
- Regularly check inventory levels of products in the store to identify low stock items that need replenishment.
- Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary products or accessories to customers, maximizing sales opportunities and enhancing the shopping experience.
KEY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- A bachelor's degree or a related field is preferred. However, relevant experience or a combination of education and experience may also be accepted.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, ideally in retail home gym equipment or sports retail.
