We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Engine Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Jedar Floors Contracting. As an Engine Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of a variety of engines and have a keen eye for detail and possess hands-on expertise in engine diagnostics and repair.

Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot engine malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and tools.

2. Perform routine maintenance on engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

3. Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues with engine components and systems.

4. Repair or replace damaged, worn, or malfunctioning engine parts, such as pistons, valves, and bearings.

5. Overhaul and rebuild engines when necessary, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.

6. Test engines to ensure proper functionality and performance after repairs or maintenance.

7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with hazardous materials and machinery.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an engine mechanic.

2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

4. In-depth knowledge of engine components, systems, and repair techniques.

5. Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow instructions.

6. Excellent attention to detail and precision in execution.
