Role & Responsibilities We are seeking experienced Service Engineers, Senior Service Technicians, and Service Technicians for a leading Industrial Service Company in Kuwait specializing in compressed air systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, installation, commissioning, and repair of oil-injected rotary screw air compressors and compressed air dryers.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of rotary screw air compressors.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Major overhaul of compressor packages.
• Airend inspection, repair, and replacement.
• Bearing replacement and mechanical seal replacement.
• Motor replacement and alignment.
• Coupling alignment using dial indicators or laser alignment tools.
• Maintenance of belt-drive and direct-drive compressor systems.
• Oil system and cooling system servicing.
• Replacement of oil separators, oil filters, and air filters.
• Inlet valve, blowdown valve, minimum pressure valve, and thermostatic valve overhaul.
• Solenoid valve troubleshooting and replacement.
• Leak detection and repair.
• Installation and commissioning of compressors after overhaul.
• Performance testing and fault diagnosis.
• Preparation of service reports and customer support documentation.

Electrical Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting industrial electric motors.
• Working knowledge of Star-Delta starters.
• Experience with Soft Starters.
• Experience with VFD/VSD drives.
• Electrical control panel troubleshooting.
• PLC and electronic compressor controller diagnostics.
• Pressure and temperature sensor troubleshooting.
• Reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams.
• Electrical fault diagnosis using multimeters and clamp meters.

Air Dryer Experience

• Refrigerated Air Dryers.
• Heatless Desiccant Dryers.
• Heated Desiccant Dryers.
• Automatic Condensate Drain Systems.
• Air Filtration Systems.
• Moisture Separators.
• Dew Point Controllers.

Tools Knowledge

Candidates should be familiar with :

Experience

• 3 to 15 years of relevant experience in industrial air compressor service and maintenance.
• Hands-on field service experience is mandatory.
• Experience in shutdowns, commissioning, and troubleshooting preferred.
• Gulf experience will be an added advantage.
