Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety during drilling operations.
  • Monitor wellbore pressure, flow rates, and other critical parameters in real-time to detect and mitigate potential well control issues.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MPD systems, including pumps, chokes, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with the drilling team, including the driller, mud engineer, and rig supervisor, to optimize MPD parameters and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a relevant technical degree or diploma in engineering or a related field.
  • Holds certifications in well control and MPD operations, such as IWCF or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling operations.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of MPD principles, equipment, and operational procedures.
