The Junior Analyst supports the Innovation & Ventures Division's company scouting,
market research, and partnership and investment evaluation activities. The role involves
conducting sector and company research, supporting early-stage startup scouting,
organizing inbound opportunities, preparing structured summaries and evaluation
materials to inform senior decision-making, and supporting strategic outreach to
companies and founders. The position offers exposure to technology-driven industries
and the early stages of strategic partnerships, investment screening, and evaluation
processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain partnership and investment trackers, CRM systems, and follow-up
schedules
Support outreach to accelerators, institutions, and technology companies
Conduct market and sector research across priority technology and industrial domains
Support early-stage startup scouting through desk research, ecosystem mapping, and
outreach
Identify and summarize relevant startups, technologies, and market trends for internal
review
Review industry reports, white papers, and public materials to support partnership
and investment evaluation
Organize and review inbound pitch decks and partnership inquiries
Prepare internal summaries, briefing notes, and draft evaluation memos
Support financial and commercial analysis to inform investment and partnership
evaluation
Assist with development of internal templates, processes, and documentation
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the Group as needed
Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong
foundation in financial or commercial analysis
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable conducting desk research and engaging with industry literature and market
reports
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured summaries
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Interest in technology-driven, industrial, or infrastructure-related sectors
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and basic research tools
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in consulting, finance, strategy, startups, or corporate
development
Exposure to energy, infrastructure, industrials, or technology sectors
Familiarity with CRM, Notion, or Airtable tools
Exposure to basic financial analysis, valuation concepts, or investment research
