Job Purpose:
The Logistics Administrator ensures seamless coordination, effective logistics & warehouse management, and alignment with company goals and standards. The role requires experience in business practices as the relationship between supplier, distributor and customer is vital for the Electric Power Industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods in warehouse and project sites.
- Oversee payment for shipments, ensuring they align with agreed terms.
- Communicate with suppliers, shippers for any clarifications to obtain the necessary shipping documents.
- Coordinate efficiently with the consignee and cargo delivery agents for the smooth release of cargo from customs.
- Arrange inland transportation for delivering cargo from customs to project sites and warehouse as required.
- Coordination and support to the project teams for any requirements at project sites.
- Ensure maintenance and safety of warehouse operations.
- Handle complete Logistics works for shifting/transferring of goods and equipment’s.
- Prepare delivery note and letters.
- Prepare packing list and commercial invoices.
- Prepare the authorization letter and letter for clearing the shipment.
- Prepare, organize, and submit all logistic documents accurately through online platforms.
- Prepare entry and exit gate passes to all project sites.
- Communicate proactively with customers to address any shipment-related issues, ensuring timely resolution by providing necessary support and solutions to meet their needs.
- Ensure all logistics activities meet regulatory and quality standards and maintaining detailed documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage scrap materials in coordination with the team after project completion.
- Generate and deliver comprehensive reports on inventories of shipments, equipment’s and materials and submit to the HOD (Engineering).
- Provide actionable insights to improve logistics and supply chain operations.
- Keep abreast with the latest developments in logistics, industry regulations, standards, and best practices, market dynamics, competitor activities to ensure ongoing compliance in supporting the ongoing logistics operations.
- Any other related tasks assigned as per the management’s requirements.
Skills
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, and stores management preferably with the power and energy transmission sector.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the logistics cycle, including, warehouse management, shipment logistics, and invoicing.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to negotiate contracts and terms with third-party logistics providers.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a focus on effective time and resource allocation.
- Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
