Payroll Officer

  • Manage payroll data and update it on a regular basis.
  • Create a database for payroll records and update it on a regular basis.
  • Handle payroll transactions in an efficient manner.
  • Manage and monitor employee timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver pay slips in a timely manner.
  • Receive leave requests and process them on the system.
  • Compile summaries of earnings, deductions, leave, sick leaves, and business trips and generate reports upon request.
  • Record and calculate variable pay such as overtime, shift payments, salary increments, and promotions.
  • Process the end of service benefit in coordination with the Finance department.
  • Attend to employee enquiries and clarifications on their payroll and benefits.
  • Handle complaints and answer questions regarding payroll, leaves, deductions.
  • Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the HR and Finance Departments to help process payroll accurately and timely.
  • Generate and report payroll reports to upper management/HOD.
  • Assist with month-end reporting.

  • Strong background in payroll with relevant experience in Kuwait

  • Strong communication and interpersonal expertise, promoting smooth coordination with team members, HR representatives, and external associates to address employee questions, rectify payment inconsistencies, and provide counsel on payroll affairs.
