Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Strong follow-up from inquiry generation to the final local purchase order and analyze lost inquiries.
2. Market Expansion:
- Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify potential markets and customer segments.
- Create and implement strategies to effectively enter and grow in new markets.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while acquiring new ones.
- Understand client needs and offer solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
4. Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor and report daily on business development activities.
- Closely follow up on collections from various clients and update management regularly.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business development and client management.
6. Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Use this knowledge to anticipate market changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
Skills
- Proven experience (4+ years) in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to provide authentic market intelligence to management for critical decision-making.
