We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Cost Controller with Food & Beverage experience to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our F&B operations by monitoring costs, implementing cost-saving strategies, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of F&B cost control principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze F&B costs including food, beverage, and operational expenses.
- Develop and maintain cost control procedures to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and stock levels to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with chefs, procurement teams, and vendors to optimize purchasing and minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare regular reports on F&B costs, budget variances, and financial performance for management review.
- Implement and enforce portion control policies and standard recipes to control food and beverage costs.
- Evaluate menu profitability and recommend pricing adjustments based on cost analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and cost-effective practices to continuously improve operational efficiency.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of F&B cost control principles, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards related to F&B operations in Kuwait is preferred.
